This oil was designed for the Ayurvedic practice of Shishu Abhyanga (baby massage). According to Ayurvedic theory, this practice enhances the functioning of the nervous and immune systems and supports the overall health of all bodily tissues.
Shishu Baby Massage Oil is a blend of organic oils, ghee, brahmi, pure 24kt gold and other natural ingredients that are considered in Ayurveda to be particularly beneficial for babies and their delicate skin.
The oils are cured and infused in organic clay pots with whole calendula, tulsi, brahmi, chamomile extract (10:1), and marshmallow root. It is then triple-filtered through organic, unbleached muslin cloth for a second infusion with pure 24kt gold (edible quality, tested for purity). Before bottling it is whipped in a pure copper vessel giving it an incredible consistency, like liquid gold.
Ghee and castor oil are believed to act as ‘carriers’ which allow for transdermal absorption and deep penetration into the cells. The practice of daily massage with this oil is so sweet and nourishing. While it was designed for babies, it can be used for anyone.
Usage: Can be used morning and night for optimal results, or anytime as needed to address skin concerns or dryness.
